Ina Wroldsen started her career as an artist, but changed to writing music for others. As a songwriter she’s had great success and are considered amongst the most sought in her field in Europe and North-America. She’s won several awards for her work and her songs have been used by Calvin Harris, Shakira, Britney Spears, The Pussycat Dolls, Shontelle, James Arthur, Leona Lewis, Little Mix, The Saturdays and One Direction amost others.
The last years Ina has also picked up her artist carreer. As “Ask Embla”, together with Islandic Arnthor Birgisson she released the album Northern Lights in 2013. It was only released in Norway, where it was one of the most sold albums of the year.
She has continued with her own name, and has released “Aliens”(2014), “Rebels”(2015) and in April 2016 “Lay it on me”. The last one was released together with the norwegian duo Broiler and climbed to second place on both Spotify and VG-lista.
In 2015 Calvin Harris & the Diciples gave out Inas song “How deep is your love” with her vocal tracks. This became one of the most played songs all over the world.
The last year Ina has also contributed as judge in the Norwegian Idol. With her genuine interest for music, and to find and develop new talents this is a challenge she has greatly appreciated.
